What are your return and exchange policies?
Items can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.
To start a return, please use our returns portal or contact us at hey@amourlinen.com with your order number.
Unless the item is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Once the return is received and approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
If you need a different size or item, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original product.
How long will my refund take and how will I be refunded?
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
What do I do if I receive a defective product?
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us at hey@amourlinen.com within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and photos of the issue. Our team will review the case and arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been shipped, it may still be possible to cancel it. Please contact us as soon as possible at hey@amourlinen.com with your order number, and we will do our best to assist you. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a variety of secure payment methods through Shopify Payments. These include major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB), as well as accelerated checkouts such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Depending on your location, additional local payment methods or installment options may also be available at checkout.

What do I do if my payment has been declined?
If your payment was declined, please check that your card details, billing address, and payment information are entered correctly. You may also want to try another payment method or contact your bank, as some transactions may be blocked for security reasons.

I have a discount code, how do I use it?
You can enter your discount code at checkout in the discount code field. Once applied, the discount will automatically be deducted from your order total before payment.

Linen Care
How long will linen last?
Linen is one of the most durable natural fabrics and can last for many years with proper care. Thanks to its strong natural fibers, linen becomes softer and more comfortable over time while maintaining its strength. With gentle washing and air drying, high-quality linen garments can last for many seasons of regular use.
What detergent should I use?
We recommend using a mild, gentle detergent that is free from harsh chemicals or bleach. Natural or delicate-fabric detergents work best for linen, helping preserve the fabric’s strength, softness, and color over time.
Will the colors fade/change/transfer?
Our fabrics are carefully dyed and washed to ensure long-lasting color. Some slight softening of color may occur over time with regular washing, which is natural for linen.
To maintain the best color quality, we recommend washing with similar colors, using a gentle detergent, and avoiding harsh chemicals or bleach.
How do I dry my linen?
For best results, air dry your linen naturally, ideally in a shaded area. This helps preserve the fabric’s softness and durability. We recommend avoiding tumble drying, as high heat can weaken the fibers over time.
How can I get rid of a stain?
Treat stains as soon as possible by gently blotting the area with cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Avoid rubbing the fabric harshly, as this can damage the fibers. For tougher stains, allow the detergent to sit on the area for a few minutes before washing. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals on linen.
What To Expect?
What do linen sheets feel like?
Buttery soft, luxurious and "feels like a hug" are all phrases that have been used to describe our linen. To the touch, natural flax linen has a weighty, tactile feel that's incredibly cozy and comforting, yet breathable enough to use year-round. If you're new to flax linen you might notice it feels slightly crisp or rigid on first arrival. That's because linen gets better over time, and starts softening upon contact with water. The more you wash and use your linen, the softer and more comfortable it will become.
Do linen sheets shed?
Linen sheets are known to sometimes shed little balls of lint or fluff. This is a completely normal part of the linen fiber's lifecycle–and in fact means your sheets are growing softer and more comfortable by shedding excess fibres. As a rule of thumb, the darker the dye, the more likely shedding will occur. This is because the dyes that are darker can lead to a greater buildup of fibres in the linen. If your Threads do start to shed, don't worry–it should settle within a few washes.
Will linen sheets keep me cool/warm?
Linen is comfortable all year round, keeping you cool and summer and warm in winter, so you don't have to swap your sheets as the seasons change. It’s all down to the fibers, which are longer than cotton and therefore create a looser weave within the fabric. Linen's moisture-wicking abilities play a part, too (linen can also absorb up to 20% of its own weight in moisture), wicking away perspiration and effectively regulating your body temperature–great news for anyone who gets really hot or cold at night.
What do linen towels feel like?
Crafted from an intricate waffle weave (also known as honeycomb weave), our linen towels are lightweight, luxurious and "make every day feel like a holiday," according to one reviewer. If you've ever used a Turkish-style towel, you'll be familiar with their light and airy feel–meaning they dry incredibly quickly without compromising on absorbency. Their textured waffle weave will also gently exfoliate your skin with each use and, as opposed to standard pile towels, linen towels will grow softer and more supple over time, outlasting cotton and synthetics. As they soften they may shed excess fibres–if this happens, give them a few washes to free any loose fibers.
